Welcome! I am a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) holding a Master’s Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. My career began in speech-language pathology, where I developed a deep passion for helping individuals communicate effectively. Driven by a desire to expand my knowledge and skill set, I pursued further education to become a BCBA.
My experience spans a diverse range of populations, serving children from birth to 21 years old, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD, ADHD, Down syndrome, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), language delays, social communication difficulties, and developmental disabilities within the metro Atlanta area. This breadth of experience allows me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each child and their family.
Our Unique Approach
Our approach to executive functioning therapy focuses on the foundational skills needed to develop effective planning, organization, and self-regulation, which are essential for achieving social and academic goals.By strengthening these skills, clients can improve their ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks effectively, leading to greater independence. This development fosters resilience, boosts confidence, and equips clients with the tools needed to navigate challenges more effectively.
Our treatment strategies also focus on enhancing social and pragmatic language, including early developing skills such as joint attention, reciprocity, and visual referencing.We emphasize initiation, building and sustaining relationships, and interpreting social scenarios. This approach highlights adaptability in diverse contexts, guiding children to gain a richer understanding of different perspectives and interactions.
We aim to create a supportive, compassionate and neurodivergent-affirming environment where every child feels empowered to thrive. By combining my expertise in speech-language pathology with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques, we implement effective strategies for skill development tailored to each individual.
